Future Trends in American Jewish Life

What are the central issues facing the American Jewish community in the decades ahead? In this provocative presentation, Professor Sarna will examine key trends affecting Jewish life, including the impact of the 2016 election as well as lesser-known economic, demographic and religious changes that will affect American Jewry in the 21st century and beyond.

Jonathan D. Sarna '75, MA'75, is University Professor and the Joseph H. and Belle R. Braun Professor of American Jewish History. He is also chair of the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program at Brandeis and chief historian of the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia.
